Museum visits

Sort has several interesting museums. El Camí de la Llibertat Prison-Museum is a museum that tells the history of the route and of those who crossed the border with France fleeing Nazism during World War II.

The Museum of the Shepherds of the Àssua Valley exposes what life was like for shepherds in the mountains and also tells how their daily lives have evolved thanks to technology.

Finally, we must highlight the Museum of Butterflies of Catalonia. Located at 1200m altitude, this museum has more than 400 specimens and reveals the secrets and fascinating world of butterflies and insects that live in the environment.
