Monastery of Santa María de Gerri

Santa Maria of Gerri

Declared a cultural asset of national interest, the Santa María de Gerri monastery was built during the 12th century. The temple is located in the village of Gerri de la Sal, next to a medieval bridge that crosses the Noguera Pallaresa. The Monastery Bridge (also called Gerri Bridge) links the town with the monastery since it was built.
